FTC Team 27409, the The Automatons, represents John Adams Middle School in Rochester, Minnesota. We advance STEM by learning to design, build, and program competitive robots while practicing teamwork, outreach, and Gracious Professionalism®.

Inspire students to become science & technology leaders through mentor‑based programs that build skills and confidence.

Competition

We compete in FIRST Tech Challenge, engineering robots to complete complex tasks with alliance partners.

Community

We mentor younger students, host demos, and support Rochester’s growing K‑12 robotics ecosystem.

Innovation

From CAD to code to controls, students practice real engineering—prototyping, testing, iterating, and presenting.
